Sofia Dermenjyan

Sofia’s journey in tennis began at age 7, where she developed as a competitive player under the guidance of Coach Harout. She competed in USTA and ITF junior tournaments before continuing her career as a Division I student-athlete on the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) women’s tennis team. Her 15+ years of tennis experience have shaped her understanding of the inner demands of the game.

Sofia believes that every player has unique strengths and potential, and strives to create a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where players can grow, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for tennis. Having experienced KTA as both a player and a coach, she is passionate about giving back to the tennis community and helping the next generation of athletes reach their potential. In addition to coaching, Sofia contributes to KTA’s marketing operations, combining her passion for tennis with her creativity and background in business and marketing.
